The new year is here and it’s time to make those resolutions! One of mine is always to give my body food and drinks that make me feel good, and water is always at the top of that list. Here is one of my favorite recipes to spice up plain water and get in the habit of drinking it a little bit more.
- 5 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 30 fresh basil leaves, trimmed
- 5 fresh strawberries
- Rinse basil and slice strawberries, then add to an airtight container.
- Add chia seeds to the container with about 24 ounces of filtered water and cover with the lid.
- Let sit overnight or until the chia seeds have expanded.
- Pour and enjoy!
